Electrical equipment for measurement, control, and laboratory use – EMC requirements
Part 2-3: Particular requirements – Test configuration, operational conditions and performance criteria for transducers with integrated or remote signal conditioning
This document should be used in conjunction with IEC 61326-1 and provides more detailed test configurations, operating conditions and performance criteria specific to transducers with remote or integrated signal conditioning.
This standard is exclusive to transducers defined by their ability to transform a non-electric quantity to a process relevant signal and to output the signal at a single or multiple ports, using an auxiliary energy source. Transducers for electrochemical and biological measured quantities are also included in this standard.
Additional transducer characteristics are detailed in the scope of this standard explaining which transducers fall into the frame of this document. If you would like more information regarding this standard and to determine if it applies to your device, contact Compatible Electronics, Inc.
EN/IEC 61326-2-3 is a harmonized standard within the IEC 61326 series and is part of a regulatory compliance plan needed to show compliance to the EU EMC Directive, 2014/30/EU.
